Kashmir Solidarity Day

Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed on February 5 of each year since 1990 in Pakistan as a day of protest against Indian control over part of Kashmir. It is a national holiday to Pakistan.Kashmir Day was first brought appeal by Qazi Hussain Ahmed, Ameer-e-JamMate-e-Islami in Pakistan in 1990. Since then, 5Feb is a national holiday in Pakistan. Pakistan considers Kashmir as the heart of the problem between India and Pakistan, leading to three wars and spend much of their national income to defense leaders budgets.World stressed the need to resolve the Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan to prevent an event that can cause a disaster in the region. Kashmir is the flashpoint of nuclear energy in South Asia, surrounded by three nuclear powers.

In the view of Pakistan, the international community in general and the governing bodies, particularly in the world should intervene and compel India to stop the shedding of innocent blood in Kashmir. However, most of the international community, except for China to refuse to intervene in the conflict to argue that it is a matter between India and Pakistan are best addressed on a bilateral basis. India claims to preserve, such as Pakistan, the people of Kashmir should have the right to decide their fate. Here's how it is organized at state elections at different times. The elections were held in 2008 were generally considered reasonable the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, was the participation rate, despite calls for a boycott against the militants, and brought the pro-India, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference as a state government.

Pakistan and the members of the community separatists in Kashmir continue to claim that the atrocities were committed by the Indian state of Kashmir, a claim which India refuses to reverse on Pakistan to back the insurgency, terrorism and cooking passions common in his state. In mid-2010 there have been numerous protests and unrest in the streets of Jammu and Kashmir against the killing of civilians by Indian security forces. The security forces of India and the Indian army, however, said the death was an accident, while trying to control hundreds of protesters in the streets that were swinging stones at security forces. However, protests against the security forces spiral out of control and in a few months to more than 100 civilians were killed. A number of security forces were also killed in the clashes.

During the uprising in Kashmir in the summer of 2010, which saw dozens of protesters killed by Indian security forces and a complete cessation of Kashmir for over a month, said Syed Ali Shah Geelani, a key leader separatists, "we will end the occupation by India and has already made our proposal to start a dialogue" (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/39147447/ns/world_news-south_and_central_asia/)

The purpose of the Kashmir Solidarity Day according to Pakistan is to provide sympathetic support and policy for people they believe Kashmiri separatists are fighting for their freedom to Indian rule. Pakistan calls Kashmir that it occupies as Azad Jammu and Kashmir (Jammu and Kashmir independent), while the share occupied by the Indian called Maqbuza Kashmir (Kashmir occupied). The Indians called the area under the Pakistan occupied Kashmir as Pakistan. (POK) There is almost no transparency in the management or media freedom in this part of Kashmir governed by Pakistan over Kashmir administered.
